Ayurveda Cucumber Raita Recipe with Mint

Cucumber Mint Raita

(Refreshing Yogurt Condiment)

Raita is a nourishing condiment consisting of plain yogurt, water, salt and spices. This recipe is perfect for the summer season with its refreshing addition of mint and cucumber and cooling spices such as coriander and cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup yogurt

  • 1-2 cup water (to preference of thickness)

  • 1/2 grated and peeled cucumber

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp coriander seed powder

  • 1 tsp cumin seed powder

  • 1 handful of chopped mint leaves

Preparations

Mix all ingredients together.
