Ayurveda Date Milk Shake Recipe

 Immune Boost Ayurveda Date Milk Shake Recipe:

 

When consumed regularly thru fall and winter, this drink will nourish your physiology in many ways, boosting  immunity (ojas), providing deep sleep, stronger bones and enhanced happiness,  satisfaction and forgiveness.

Directions:

  • Boil 1 cup whole milk (best is raw, A2 milk, or organic non-homogenized is second best)

  • 1 crushed cardamom pod

  • 1 small piece of cinnamon stick

  • 1-2 threads of saffron

  • Bring to a boil until it foams up

  • Remove from heat let cool until warm

  • Strain out herbs

  • Blend milk with

  • 10 soaked and peeled almonds (if you have them)

  • 2 pitted dates (if you can soak these in water overnight and use the soaking water to mix with the milk that is an added treat)

  • Can add a pinch of vanilla powder if you have it on hand

Sip slowly, savoring each sip, and enjoy while warm. So soothing and bliss promoting ❤️
