Each with 10-30+ years clinical & teaching experience and diverse backgrounds from ayurveda, women's health, integrative medicine, trauma-informed psychology, naturopathy, panchakarma, yoga, tantra, theology, vedic astrology, cooking. herbal medicine, aromatherapy, business, and more. They’ve trained many of the teachers and founded many of the ayurveda  organizations and summits in the USA. They teach from the lived wisdom of having raised their families and survived themselves with the support of Ayurveda - the Mother of All Medicines.

Traci Webb

Traci is a visionary pioneer, author, intuitive healer, and leader within the field of Ayurveda. She brings 3 decades of experience, deep wisdom, loving presence, and powerful transmission to each class. She founded the the Ayurvedic Living School in 2006 offering the world's only Women-Centered Ayurveda Practitioner Program based on our signature Matriarchal Ayurveda™️model which has empowered 1,000s of women across the globe to heal themselves and step into their calling as community wellness leaders. Traci has authored 6 ayurveda textbooks and joyfully shares the special SVA lineage wisdom in each class which she learned directly over 12 years with her teacher Dr. Vaidya RK Mishrae. When she's not teaching, you'll find Traci in her garden, kitchen or hiking amongst the ancient forests.

Vijaya Stern

Vijaya Stern is an Ayurvedic Naturopath, who is a highly respected teacher and practitioner of Ayurveda and Panchakarma across the US. She is the originator of the Shakti Marga Path of Feminine Power (Ayurtantra Self-Healing and Tantric Dance System). She has studied with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute since 1982. She is a graduate of Clayton College of Naturopathic Medicine, and is a Certified Massage Therapist. She is an Ayurveda and Panchakarma teacher who also incorporates Emotional Breathwork, Sanskrit Chanting, Tantric Mysticism and Yoga into her courses. Vijaya has also served on the Board of Directors for CAAM. Vijaya teaches in our Coach and Herbalist programs.

Mamta Landerman

Mamta Landerman is an Ayurveda teacher, mentor, vedic astrologer (jyotishi), and the founding and past President of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (CAAM). She's produced three International Ayurveda Symposia, bringing together Ayurveda pioneers, teachers, practitioners and suppliers across the globe and has helped to seed the wisdom of Ayurveda in the US and beyond. Mamta has also served as faculty for several ayurveda schools across the US, and has presented at numerous workshops, and conferences.  A mother of two grown sons, Mamta is a native of India and has been practicing and teaching ayurveda, vedic astrology, and transformational work for over 35 years across the US and beyond.

Mary Thompson

Mary Thompson is a world class teacher, one of the first teachers of ayurveda in the USA, and is heart-centered mentor to Ayurvedic practitioners and students around the globe. Having taught Ayurveda for over 20 years, she continues to find joy in supporting her students as they step into their professional lives. Her interest in Ayurveda began as she sought to find answers to her own health challenges. Once she found Ayurveda, she transitioned from grade-school teacher to Ayurvedic practitioner educator. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner,  Panchakarma Specialist, and founding board member of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (CAAM). Mary teaches in our Coach, Herbalist and Mentorship programs.

Sandhiya Ramaswamy, Ayur MD (NAMA)

Sandhiya Ramaswamy has been promoting Ayurveda for over 15 years. She is an Ayurveda health & lifestyle coach, a faculty member at many Ayurveda schools, and an inspired Ayurveda plant-based chef. Prior to her wellness career, she spent many years in the corporate world. Her well-rounded perspective makes her approach to Ayurveda pragmatic, relatable, joyful and most importantly, very effective. Sandhiya is passionate about making Ayurveda accessible and available to all. She is certified at the Ayurvedic Doctor level. Sandhiya came back to her roots of ayurveda after a serious hospitalization resulting from burn out after many years in the corporate world.

Dr. Sarita Shrestha, BAMS & Ayur MD

Dr. Sarita Shrestha, BAMS & MD (Ayu, OB/Gyn - Obstetrics & Gynecology), has been specializing in ayurveda women's health for more than 40 years. She's an internationally renowned pioneer within the field of Ayurveda as the first female Ayurvedic Physician in Nepal. She's known as the “Mother of Ayurveda” in Nepal where her health clinics in the rural villages of Nepal have offered medical support to those in need. She's the Founder and Medical Director of the previous Devi Ma Kunja and Ayurveda Health Center in Nepal, where she served her people with love and compassion and provided free healthcare services to thousands of people in India and Nepal for- over 40 years.

Sarah Kruse, Ayur MD (NAMA)

is a long time student of Dr. Vasant Lad. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner & panchakarma educator who assists her clients & students in returning to their true nature through Ayurveda. She has chosen to work in the field of Ayurveda for the purpose of bringing healing and awareness to women’s lives so that they can realize their passion and purpose and contribute their gifts to the world we live in. Sarah teaches for the Ayurvedic Living Schools Ayurveda Herbalist & Heart & Soul of Ayurveda Programs. Sarah leads Ayurveda retreats to India and guides ayurveda women's coaching programs.

Dr. Jupiter-Ajah Fambo, PhD, MS, MFA

Dr. Jupiter-Ajah Christine Fambo, Holds a Ph.D. in Holistic Fertility and Theology, a Master of Science Degree in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine,  is a AAP Ayurvedic Doctor, and is a Holistic Fertility & Brain Health Specialist. She is also a Certified Trauma-Informed Professional and Women-Centered Life Coach. She has extensive training in western science, and has worked as a licensed EMT. Her research and practice are rooted in the prevention of in-utero trauma, hormonal balance, and neuroplasticity for emotional and cognitive health. She's an author, filmmaker and advocate of women's wellness, resilience and community transformation.

Jennifer Wiest

Jennifer Wiest is Ayurvedic Living School's Community Director & Herbalist Intern Supervisor. She's an Ayurvedic Living School certified Ayurveda Practitioner, Herbalist, Health & Life Coach, Aromatherapist, Marma Practitioner, Facialist and Panchakarma Therapist. She's the founder and the creatrix of Amrita Botanicals, her ayurveda-inspired aromatic product line where she incorporates her homegrown and home distilled herbs, essential oils and hydrosols.

Corinna Maharani

Corinna Maharani is an SVA certified Ayurvedic practitioner, PanchaKarma expert, and lifelong educator with more than 35 years of experience in Ayurvedic Sacred Bodywork™, Marma Therapy, and PanchaKarma which she teaches through her Maharani Academy. She studied and graduated ayurveda from Maharishi International University starting 1989, where she met her  teacher, the esteemed Vaidya R.K. Mishra, whose Shaka Vansiya Ayurveda (SVA) lineage spans an unbroken line of 126 generations.

Mia Hamilton

Mia Hamilton is our Executive Support Director and all around school support rockstar who helps our students, teachers and school to function on the day-to-day. Mia is an Ayurvedic Living School certified Ayurveda Practitioner, Health & Life Coach & Herbalist. She's passionate about women's health & empowerment with a background in energy medicine, herbal foraging & herbal remedies making. She serves her local Oregon community guiding women's circles.

Sonia Auld

Sonia Auld is an Ayurvedic Living School certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Herbalist, & Health & Life Coach and our Coach Intern Supervisor. She's a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Teacher Trainer and Women’s Wellness Guide based in Alaska. She weaves Ayurveda, movement, ancestral wisdom, and feminine embodiment to support women—especially in perimenopause and midlife. Her mission is to help women feel at home in their bodies and walk their unique path with clarity, confidence, and devotion.

Palak Modi

Palak Modi is an Ayurvedic Living School certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Herbalist, and Health & Life Coach. Palak has been cooking since her childhood in India, and has refined her cooking skills over the course of her lifetime. She has a lifelong love affair with foods and cooking and is thrilled to share her passion in the ayurvedic kitchen with you! Palak teaches our seasonal Ayurveda Cooking Classes.
