Traci Webb

is the founding director, lead teacher and program designer of the Ayurvedic Living School which she founded in 2006 in Northern California where she and her cohort of female ayurveda luminaries guide women to reclaim their connection to their bodies, to the earth, to each other, and to their own inner knowing through the school's women-centered Ayurveda Life Mastery™️ Health & Life Coach & Nutritionist Training and Ayurveda Herbalist & Practitioner Trainings. Traci has authored 6 ayurveda textbooks. She's a certified Ayurveda Practitioner & Educator, Pulse & Marma Therapist, Panchakarma Teacher, Vedic Astrologer, Yoga Instructor, Aromatherapist & life-long yogini who's been teaching ayurveda and guiding women's groups for 25 years. Traci is passionate about empowering women to rise and to reclaim their power and their birthright as self, family and community healers and leaders. When not teaching, you will find her in her garden, kitchen or hiking amongst the ancient forests. 

Vijaya Stern

is an Ayurvedic Naturopath, who is a highly respected teacher and practitioner of Ayurveda and Panchakarma across the US. She is the originator of the Shakti Marga Path of Feminine Power (Ayurtantra Self-Healing System). She has studied with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute since 1982. She is a graduate of Clayton College of Naturopathic Medicine, and is a Certified Massage Therapist. She is an Ayurveda and Panchakarma teacher who also incorporates Emotional Breathwork, Sanskrit Chanting, Tantric Mysticism and Yoga into her courses. Vijaya has also served on the Board of Directors for CAAM. Vijaya teaches in our Coach and Herbalist programs.

Mamta Landerman

is the founding and current President of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (CAAM) and served on its Board for five years since 1998. She produced three Ayurveda International Symposia at U.C. Berkeley, bringing together Ayurvedic practitioners, suppliers and teachers from across the nation to seed the wisdom of this 5,000 year-old ‘mind-body-soul’ philosophy and wholistic healthcare system in the US. Mamta has also served as faculty for several ayurveda schools across the US, and has presented at numerous workshops, and conferences.  A mother of two grown sons, Mamta is a native of India and has been practicig and teaching transformational work for over 35 years across the US.  She has a deep love and study of her ancient heritage from India - specifically ayurveda and Jyotisha (Vedic Astrology).

Mary Thompson

is a world class teacher, one of the first teachers of ayurveda in the USA, and is heart-centered mentor to Ayurvedic practitioners and students around the globe. Having taught Ayurveda for over 20 years (18 at the California College of Ayurveda), she continues to find joy in supporting her students as they step into their professional lives. Her interest in Ayurveda began as she sought to find answers to her own health challenges. Once she found Ayurveda, she transitioned from grade-school teacher to Ayurvedic practitioner educator. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner,  Panchakarma Specialist, and founding board member of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (CAAM). Mary teaches in our Coach, Herbalist and Mentorship programs.

Jennifer Wiest

is our Community Director & Lead Intern Supervisor. Jennifer was in our first graduating class of the school. She's a graduate of most of the school's programs including Ayurveda Life Mastery, Ayurveda Herbalists trainings, Ayurvedic Massage, Aromatherapy & Ayurveda Facialist Training. She's a Coach Intern Supervisor, who also guides our Community Moon Meditations and Peer Support Circles. She's the founder and the creatrix of Amrita Botanicals, her ayurveda-inspired aromatic product line where she incorporates her homegrown and distilled herbs, essential oils and hydrosols. Jennifer teaches monthly Q&A sessions for all our professional trainings.

Sandhiya Ramaswamy

Sandhiya Ramaswamy MBA CAS PKS is an Ayurveda & Spiritual master teacher, practitioner and educator.  For over a decade, she has had the privilege of helping hundreds of students experience the transformative power of Ayurveda. She is an Ayurveda health & life coach, plant based chef, spiritual mentor and India retreat guide. Sandhiya came back to her roots of ayurveda after a serious hospitalization resulting from burn out after many years in the corporate world.  Her Indian roots & lineage, along with her deep knowledge of Ayurveda, Yoga and Tantra, along with her prior corporate experiences and practical approach to Ayurveda & Spirituality make these great wisdom sciences accessible to everyone.

XIommy Rohena

(Pronounced "See-oh-me" Rohena)
Xiommy is a Caribbean, Ayurvedic & western herbalist, activist, and educator from Borikén (Archipiélago de Puerto Rico). She's the proprietress of Yerba Bruja sustainable herbal product line, made with herbs sourced from her own garden. She is a lover of herbs and foods who co-teaches our Ayurveda Herbal Remedies Making Immersions & Ayurveda Cooking Classes.  She's also one of our Herbal Intern Supervisors. She's a certified Ayurveda Herbalist, Ayurveda Chef, Ayurveda Practitioner, Ayurveda Health & Life Coach, Ayurveda Aromatherapist & Yoga Teacher.

Lynn Hanger

is an Ayurvedic Living School Graduate of both the Ayurveda Life Mastery Health & Life Coach Trainings & the Ayurveda Herbalist Trainings, a certified Yoga Instructor (Kripalu) with a BA degree in Integrative Therapeutic Practices. She serves as a Coach Intern Supervisor supporting students in their monthly private health & life coaching sessions. Lynn has been able to heal her own chronic pain, complicated and chronic PTSD, traumatic losses, abusive relationships & poverty through this integrative approach and is now passionate about sharing it with others to empower them to heal thir lives. 

Sarah Kruse

s a long time student of Dr. Vasant Lad. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner & panchakarma educator who assists her clients & students in returning to their true nature through Ayurveda. She has chosen to work in the field of Ayurveda for the purpose of bringing healing and awareness to people’s lives so that they can realize their passion and purpose and contribute their gifts to the world we live in. Sarah teaches for the Ayurvedic Living Schools Ayurveda Herbalist, Panchakarma  & Community Membership programs. 

Mia Hamilton

is our Executive Support Assistant and all around school support rockstar who helps the students, teachers and school to function on the day-to-day. Mia is a graduate of our Ayurveda Life Mastery (Coach) & Ayurveda Herbalist Trainings. She has a background in energy medicine & western herbalism & herbal medicine making. She serves her local Oregon community guiding women's groups & enjoys hiking, foraging, medicine making, and spending time with her family. It's Mia's mission to provide healing support and guidance to others, so that they have the strength to follow their dharma.
