Xiommy (See-om-e) Rohena Rodríguez is a Caribbean, Ayurvedic and western herbalist, activist, educator from Borikén (Archipiélago de Puerto Rico). Her path focuses on reclaiming ancestral traditions as a form of liberation and colonial resistance. Many years ago she decided to “d-i-y” through life to gain skills and it eventually led her to falling in love with plants and wanting to tend to them forever. Sharing her herbal medicine creations comes from her heart as they are always sourced sustainably, often from her garden and made with so much love. Xiommy co-teachers our herbal medicine making immersions and is an Intern Supervisor to many of our herbal students.
