Dr. Sarita Shrestha, BAMS & MD (Ayu, Gynecology & Obstetrics), is an internationally renowned pioneer within the field of Ayurveda as the first female Ayurvedic Physician in Nepal. She's an Ayurvedic OB/Gyn (obstetrics and gynecology) specializing in ayurveda women's health for more than 40 years. She's known as the “Mother of Ayurveda” in Nepal where her health clinics in the rural villages of Nepal offer medical support to those in need. She's the Founder and Medical Director of Devi Ma Kunja and Ayurveda Health Center in Nepal, where she's served her people with love and compassion and provided free healthcare services to thousands of people in India and Nepal for over 40 years.
